- A) No person shall be recruited to the service by direct appointment unless he/she,
not more than 50 years in case of Professor, not more than 45 Years of age in case of
Associate Professor & not more than 40 Years of age in case of Assistant
Professor as on 1st Jan. 2026. Upper age limit is 37 years. - B) Age of Tutor/Demonstrator Nursing: Between 18 and 37 years as on 1st Jan
2026. Relaxation in upper age for various categories as per below:
i) SC/BC, Candidates is 5 years.
ii) Physically Handicapped is 10 years
iii) Candidates for Ex-servicemen Category as per Punjab Govt. Rules
